Bonfire Night at the Browns

A popular event which has taken place at the Browns house in Knutsford for many years! Following Pippa’s initial trip to Tanzania in 2002, this became a fundraising event for Kiota, each event raising around £1000

Africa Alive!

Find out about the event ‘Africa Alive!’ that another Tanzanian project, Tukolene Youth Development Centre, TYDC, held in London in November 2007 in conjuntion with Kiota. It was  a celebration of African culture, fashion, food and fun for all the family, click on the link to find out more! [more]

Summer Charity Ball - Isles of Scilly

This took place in July 2003 and was a great community event with local shops, hotels, pubs and restaurants all helping by providing plates of food, tablecloths, beer; island artists donating artwork for auction and local bands playing for free. The evening, held in the Community Centre on Tresco raised over £6,500 for projects in Tanzania.
