How Can I Help?

All donations, however large or small, are welcome and appreciated. It all adds up, and makes a real difference.

How you can help: Kiwohede teaches girls new skills such as tailoring and helps them to set up their own small businesses. Kiwohede also provides one meal a day for girls who attend the centres.

We are always looking for volunteers to help us out by giving their time. For example, currently we are seeking a willing person based in the North West who would be interested in organising fundrasing events with other charities based in the area.   • CASH can be given directly to Erica or Pippa to bank.

  • CHEQUES can be made payable to KIOTA and posted to Erica or Pippa (please consult the contact us page).

  • CREDIT/ DEBIT CARDS can be used to make online donations via the Charity Choice Online Donation Service. Click here to access the online donation page.

  • TIME Why not have a fundraiser of your own? Let us know if we can be of any assistance in organising your event.

Sponsored Bike Ride

  • SPONSORSHIP Up until May 2008, we were able to give 100% of our donations to specific projects in Tanzania. However, this meant that the trustees had to foot all administration costs and as Kiota grew, this became increasingly difficult. Therefore, we now allow 3% (and no more) of all donations to go towards  necessary administration costs. However, we would also consider being sponsored by an individual, company or organisation. This would involve sponsoring Kiota for a year to the tune of around £300 allowing us to give all donations to our projects. Can you help? If so, please contact Pippa or Erica. [Contact Us]
